Overview

N/A Poppet type valves are intended for use as load holding and blocking devices in hydraulic circuits requiring very low internal leakage. HYDAC offers a variety of Poppet type two-way and three-way normally closed or normally open unidirectional or bi-directional load holding and blocking valves. Models are available for flows up to 40 gpm (150 l/min) with pressure ratings up to 5000 psi (350 bar).

All HYDAC poppet valves are tested on an automated test stand measuring internal leakage by monitoring pressure decay, not counting drops per minute. HYDAC Poppet valves therefore provide reliable load holding and assure minimum pressure decay at the actuator.

Operation

N/A When de-energized the WS06Z blocks flow from port 2 to port 1, while allowing flow from port 1 to port 2. When energized the poppet lifts and opens the flow from port 2 to port 1, while the flow from port 1 to port 2 is severely restricted.
